SONOGRAPHY AND DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE

General Sonography, Ultrasound Scans in Kandivali West

Sonography uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of organs and soft tissues, with no radiation, no needles, and no discomfort. At Ashray Healthcare, every scan is performed and reported by Dr. Rajul Oswal, a qualified radiologist, not a technician alone.

Why Choose Ashray Healthcare

Radiologist-Performed Scans

Dr. Rajul Oswal (MBBS, DNB Radiology, EDiR) personally performs and interprets each scan, ensuring diagnostic accuracy.

Radiation-Free Imaging

Sonography uses sound waves, making it completely safe for children, pregnant women and patients requiring repeat monitoring.

Same-Day Reporting

Images are reviewed immediately and a written report is provided before you leave, so your doctor can act without delay.

What to Expect

  1. The scan is completely painless. A smooth handheld probe is moved gently over the skin with water-based gel.
  2. Most abdominal scans require 4 to 6 hours of fasting beforehand; pelvic scans may require a full bladder. You will be told in advance.
  3. A typical scan takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on the area being examined.
  4. You will receive a written report with labelled images the same day.
